Rachel writes short stories in a range of genres, and is currently working on a crime mystery novel. Recently, she moved into flash fiction too, and was delighted to have a 500-word story published in Writers’ Forum magazine. Rachel also writes non-fiction articles, most commonly on horses, as she is a qualified riding instructor.
In 2020, she launched her website, WordsMightFly.com, where you can find more of her fiction, book reviews and writing news and tips.
When not writing, Rachel loves the outdoors, and can be regularly found cycling, running, walking or swimming (both indoors and out!) She grew up in a small village near Manchester, and went to university in the city. She’s lived in the South East ever since though, mostly in the Oxfordshire area, before moving to Cambridgeshire a couple of years ago.
Rachel is also the creator of the Cambridge Writers website, and manages the facebook and twitter accounts for the group. You can leave a reply below, or contact her via email if you have any questions or comments about the site.
