Dr Anna Whitelock is a historian, author and broadcaster. She is the prize-winning author of Mary Tudor: England’s First Queen (Bloomsbury 2009). Her latest book is is Elizabeth’s Bedfellows: An Intimate History of the Queen’s Court (Bloomsbury, 2013).
Anna writes and reviews for The Telegraph, The Guardian, Times Literary Supplement, BBC History magazine, History Today and The New York Times. She regularly appears in the media to talk about heritage and public history, the Tudors, monarchy, royal bodies and other aspects of political and social history.
